Quick start

Five steps from purchase to in-game menu.

The whole thing takes under three minutes the first time you do it, under thirty seconds on subsequent launches. If you get stuck at any step, scroll down to the troubleshooting matrix.

  1. Nimbus pricing tiers — Day, Week, Month, Lifetime

    Buy a key

    Pick a tier at /products — Day pass is $5 if you want to try first, Month is $30 for daily players, Lifetime is $120 if you're committed. Checkout is via SellAuth (cards, PayPal, Cash App, Apple/Google Pay, or crypto). The key arrives by email within seconds of payment confirming.

    Check your email

    Look for an email from noreply@sellauth.com (NOT from getnimbus.net — SellAuth handles the licensing). The subject line starts with "Your Nimbus key" and the key is in the body. Check spam if you don't see it within 60 seconds. Crypto payments wait for 1 network confirmation (BTC) or 12 (ETH) before the email goes out.

    Download the loader

    Sign into getnimbus.net/dashboard with the email tied to your order, then hit Download Loader. You'll get a ~3 MB signed Windows executable. Extract anywhere — Desktop is fine, but not OneDrive or Dropbox (sync conflicts break auto-update). C:\Nimbus\ is the cleanest spot.

    Run as administrator

    Right-click the loader and pick Run as administrator. Admin is required because the loader has to inject into the Marvel Rivals process — same elevation Steam Overlay and Discord overlay need. On first launch, paste your key and bind your HWID. Subsequent launches remember everything.

    Open the Launch tab and click the big Launch Game button. The loader will close (expected — it's armed and waiting), Marvel Rivals will start, and our payload injects on the title screen. Once you see the menu by pressing Insert, you're in.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and the fix.

These are the symptoms our support team sees most often during peak patch days. If yours isn't here, hop into Discord — median first reply is under 20 minutes.

  • I never got the email with my license key

    Likely cause
    SellAuth's delivery email lands in spam more often than we'd like, or your inbox is filtering by sender domain.
    Fix
    Check the spam folder for a message from noreply@sellauth.com with subject "Your Nimbus key". If it's not there after 5 minutes, email getnimbuscontact@gmail.com with your order ID (SellAuth confirmation email) and the email you paid with — we'll resend manually.
  • Loader says "HWID locked" or "HWID mismatch"

    Likely cause
    Your key is bound to a previous PC fingerprint (or hardware changed since last activation).
    Fix
    Sign into /dashboard, click your key in the Keys panel, hit Reset HWID. Re-launch the loader on the new rig. There's a 24-hour cooldown between resets — if you're inside it for a genuine emergency (motherboard RMA, Windows reinstall), DM #support on Discord with your order ID and we'll waive it.
  • Marvel Rivals crashes after I press Launch

    Likely cause
    Your loader is on a build that hasn't been re-resolved against the latest game patch yet.
    Fix
    Wait 5 minutes for auto-update on next launch — median patch turnaround is 14 minutes, so a fresh build is almost always seconds away. If it's been more than 30 minutes since a patch, re-download the loader from the dashboard. Check the status page for active incidents.
  • Overlay doesn't appear in-game

    Likely cause
    Either the loader wasn't elevated, another overlay is colliding with ours, or anti-cheat hasn't finished its seal pass.
    Fix
    Three checks in order: (1) close the loader and re-launch with Run as administrator; (2) disable RTSS, MSI Afterburner OSD, and any other Win32 overlay that hooks Present (Steam Overlay and Discord overlay are fine); (3) confirm Easy Anti-Cheat is in seal mode — wait until the Marvel Rivals title screen fully loads before tapping Insert.
  • The loader closes when I press Launch — is that broken?

    Likely cause
    No, it's expected behavior. The loader closes after arming the payload; Marvel Rivals launches on its own a moment later and our DLL injects on the title screen.
    Fix
    Just wait. You should see Marvel Rivals start within 5-15 seconds of the loader closing. If the game doesn't start, the launcher may have been blocked by Defender — see the "Payload DLL not found" entry on the FAQ for the Defender exclusion fix.
  • Anti-cheat detected something

    Likely cause
    Very rare. Most "AC detected" reports trace to a secondary cause — a second cheat running alongside Nimbus, an EAC-disable tool, or a chargeback flag.
    Fix
    Open a ticket in `#support` on Discord with: your UID, ban timestamp, the exact error/ban text, and what was running alongside Nimbus. We cross-reference against any active detection events on the status page and publish the root cause publicly within 1 hour. If it traces to a Nimbus signature we own, the policy is in writing on /refund.
