Help us build the precision overlay.
Three open roles. Remote-only. Real ownership over real surfaces. Apply with a short note about what you have shipped and which role fits.
Small team, real ownership
We are early. The bar is high and the surface area per person is large. If that is the shape of work you want, read on.
Loader builds w001 -> w950+. Patch turnaround under 15 minutes. The team operates at that cadence.
Discord-first support, no AI gatekeeping, no ticket queues from 2014. Every role here touches a customer at some point.
Three roles, three humans, one founder. You will own a surface end-to-end. No design-by-committee.
Three seats, three surfaces
Each role lists responsibilities, must-haves, and nice-to-haves. Apply by emailing careers@getnimbus.net with subject [role title] + one paragraph about a shipped thing you are proud of.
Customer Success Lead
Own the moment a customer's loader pops the sign-in dialog. Turn first-launch friction into a five-star Discord review.
- Run first-response on Discord tickets during NA + EU peak hours.
- Walk customers through HWID resets, Steam re-verifies, and post-patch payload swaps.
- Convert refund requests into renewals with empathy and a working build.
- Triage bug reports into structured issues for the engineering queue.
- Own the customer-success metric: median ticket-to-resolution under 15 minutes.
- Fluent written English. Calm, surgical, and human under pressure.
- Has shipped customer support in a gaming-adjacent product (overlay, cheat, mod, FPS coaching, anti-cheat).
- Knows the difference between Steam, Epic, Battle.net, and Riot client trees from memory.
- Comfortable in Discord as a primary support surface. No phone, no Zendesk.
- Has played Marvel Rivals, Valorant, or Overwatch 2 above gold.
- Has run a community server (gaming, modding, or trading) with 1k+ members.
- Basic SQL or KV-store reads — pull a license row without paging an engineer.
Full-stack Engineer
Ship the website, the dashboard, the loader auto-update API, and the license-mint pipeline. Touch every layer from Vercel edge to the Win32 loader.
- Own slices of the Next.js 14 + App Router customer site (getnimbus.net).
- Build admin tools: ticket triage, refund workflows, revenue dashboards, audit logs.
- Wire payments and license mint — SellAuth, KeyAuth Seller API, Stripe when it lands.
- Improve the loader release pipeline: GitHub Releases manifest, signed builds, atomic LATEST.txt.
- Code-review founder PRs and call out the load-bearing bugs before they ship.
- Strong TypeScript + React + Next.js App Router. You have shipped server components in anger.
- Comfortable with Vercel, Upstash KV, and at least one transactional email provider (Resend, Postmark, SES).
- Read C++ and Python well enough to debug across the loader / site / tooling boundary.
- Security mindset — you have personally caught a webhook-replay or HMAC-stripping bug.
- Have worked on a Discord OAuth + bot integration end-to-end.
- Win32 / PE / DLL reversing curiosity — you have opened a binary in IDA or Ghidra for fun.
- Have shipped a self-updating desktop app and survived the rollback.
Discord Community Manager
Run the Discord like a flagship boutique. Welcome new buyers, hype patch-day builds, surface the best clips, and keep the channel cleaner than a Themida pack.
- Greet every new verified member within 5 minutes of role assignment.
- Post patch-day announcements with build version, manifest hash, and a one-line changelog.
- Curate a weekly highlight reel of customer clips with credit + tag.
- Moderate against scam DMs, fake support impersonators, and resale attempts.
- Run giveaways and vouch threads using the existing nimbus_bot commands (no custom code).
- 2+ years modding a gaming, modding, or trading Discord with 5k+ members.
- Active in NA or EU evening hours — that is when the customers are online.
- Familiar with Discord's role + permission model, AutoMod, and slash-command bots.
- Tone: calm, friendly, never cringe. Match the brand voice on the website.
- Streams or has streamed Marvel Rivals / Valorant / Overwatch.
- Comfortable opening short tickets and writing succinct internal notes for engineering.
- Light video editing — 15-second TikTok and Twitter clips from raw OBS footage.
