Nimbus is built and operated by the Nimbus team. The only official support channel is our Discord server. If a stranger DMs you claiming to be Nimbus support, they are not.
These terms apply the moment you purchase, install, or use the overlay. Continued use after we update them counts as accepting the update.
1. Who provides the service
Nimbus is the developer and operator of the Marvel Rivals overlay sold at getnimbus.net and at our SellAuth storefront. We do not have a corporate phone line, a postal address staffed by humans, or a ticketing portal outside Discord. Open a ticket in our Discord and a real person will reply.
We are not affiliated with NetEase, Marvel Entertainment, Disney, Steam, Epic Games, or any other party.
2. The license we sell you
What you pay for is a license to use the overlay, not a copy of it. The license is:
- Personal. It belongs to the person who paid. You may not let a friend, family member, or paid customer use your key.
- Non-transferable. You cannot sell, lease, gift, or give away the key. We will revoke any key listed for resale.
- Single-user. One human, one license. Two players sharing a key is abuse, even if you only ever play one at a time.
- HWID-locked. The license binds to the hardware you first activate it on. You can rotate the binding from your dashboard subject to the cooldown listed there.
- Subscription-based. Access lasts the duration you paid for (day, week, month, lifetime). When the term ends, the license stops working until you renew.
We may revoke a license without refund for any conduct listed under Prohibited use below.
3. Acceptable use
You may use Nimbus to play Marvel Rivals as a single human player on your own gaming PC. That includes ranked, quickplay, custom matches, training range, and bot lobbies. You may stream or record while using it if you accept the obvious risk that doing so makes you easier to report.
4. Prohibited use
You may not:
- Share, lend, sell, or rent your license key or account credentials
- Bypass, attempt to bypass, or help anyone else bypass the HWID lock or any other technical measure protecting Nimbus
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract Nimbus's source code or assets, except where law expressly grants you that right
- Use Nimbus to grief, harass, dox, or stalk other players
- Use Nimbus in any paid competitive event, tournament, or organization-sponsored match
- Use Nimbus to automate gameplay outside the in-game features we ship (no AFK farming, no bot lobbies for boosting accounts you do not own, no third-party scripts piped on top of ours)
- Resell Nimbus access, package it into a "service" you charge for, or rebrand it
- Use Nimbus while logged into someone else's game account
5. Risk acknowledgment
Competitive online games actively try to detect modifications. Marvel Rivals ships with NetEase's anti-cheat. We invest heavily in staying ahead of it and we patch quickly when something slips, but no overlay is detection-proof and we make no promise that yours never will be.
By purchasing Nimbus you accept that:
- Your game account, your purchases in that game, your rank, your cosmetics, and your match history are at risk
- A ban from the game publisher is not a replacement or refund event, because the risk was disclosed before you paid
- You will not hold Nimbus liable for any game-side consequence (ban, suspension, inventory wipe, cosmetic revocation, ranked reset, loss of competitive eligibility)
- You will not chargeback after a ban — that is fraud, and we will pursue it
Use a throwaway account if you are not willing to take this risk on your main.
6. Updates and discontinuation
Marvel Rivals patches every few weeks. We may modify, add, remove, or temporarily disable features at any time to keep the overlay safe and functional. Sometimes we will take the overlay fully offline during a patch window while we re-validate offsets and ship the rebuild.
If the service is offline for more than seven (7) consecutive days, our Support & Replacements Policy gives you a time extension equivalent to the outage on a new key, applied automatically once we're back up.
We may also discontinue Nimbus entirely. If we do, customers with active subscriptions are made whole via the same replacement-key path; the owner reserves the right to issue refunds case-by-case for unused time.
7. Intellectual property
All code, assets, branding, UI, documentation, and infrastructure remain ours. The license we sell you is to use the software, not to own, copy, redistribute, or sublicense it.
The Marvel Rivals name and assets belong to NetEase and Marvel. We claim nothing on those — our overlay interacts with the game but is in no way an official product.
8. Termination
We may terminate your license immediately, without refund, for:
- Any breach of the Prohibited use section
- Initiating a chargeback against a paid order
- Sharing your key publicly, including in DMs, forums, or screenshots
- Any conduct that puts the integrity of the service at risk
After termination you must stop using Nimbus and destroy any local copies. A terminated license is not eligible for replacement.
You may also terminate at any time by ceasing to use the overlay. Stopping mid-subscription does not entitle you to a refund or extension of the remaining time unless the Support & Replacements Policy says it does.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Nimbus is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, free of detection, compatible with every Windows version or hardware configuration, or fit for any particular competitive goal.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Nimbus's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the event that gave rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost ranks, lost cosmetics, lost competitive standing, lost game accounts, lost profits from streaming, or emotional distress over an in-game ban.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which you purchased Nimbus, to the extent mandatory consumer protection law in that jurisdiction requires. Otherwise the parties agree any dispute will be handled through good-faith conversation in our Discord first, and only escalated if that fails.
12. Severability and entire agreement
If a court finds any part of this agreement unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Together with the Privacy Policy, Support & Replacements Policy, and Cookie Policy, this document is the entire agreement between you and Nimbus and replaces anything we said anywhere else.
