Affiliate program — getting started

The Nimbus affiliate program is the right way to share the product with friends, your stream audience, your guild, or any audience you have organic reach with. You earn a 20% commission on every purchase your invitees make in their first 90 days; they get a 10% discount on their first buy. No application — every customer account has affiliate enabled out of the box.

Step 1: open the Affiliate tab. Sign in at /dashboard, open the Affiliate panel. Your personal link is at the top — it looks like https://getnimbus.net/r/<handle>. The handle is auto-generated from your email's local part; you can customize it once via the Change handle button (only one change allowed, to prevent link-laundering).

Step 2: turn on 2FA. Affiliates handle payouts, so two-factor authentication is required before you can withdraw. See Enable two-factor authentication — it's a 90-second setup. Conversions still track without 2FA; you just can't move the money out until 2FA is on.

Step 3: pick a payout method. Three options. PayPal — fastest, instant on approve. Wise — best for non-US accounts, 1-2 business days. BTC — to a wallet address you control, on-chain confirmation in minutes. Set this in the Affiliate panel's Payout settings.

Step 4: share the link. Wherever feels natural — your bio link, a pinned post, a one-liner in your guild Discord, a panel on your Twitch overlay, in DMs to specific friends. The link sets a 30-day attribution cookie, so even if your invitee bookmarks the link and buys two weeks later, the credit still routes to you.

How conversions are tracked. When someone clicks your link, we drop a first-party cookie tying their browser to your handle. When they reach checkout, the SellAuth integration reads the cookie and stamps the order with your affiliate ID. On payment confirmation, the commission lands in your Pending bucket. After a 14-day chargeback hold (so refunded purchases don't pay out), it moves to Available and you can withdraw.

Materials. The Affiliate panel has a Promo materials section with banners, GIFs, and short-form video clips you can use. All assets are watermark-free and rights-cleared for affiliate use only — please don't repost them as if they're your own product.

Earnings math. 20% on a Day pass ($5) is $1. 20% on a Lifetime ($120) is $24. The commission cycle covers the first 90 days of the customer's lifetime, so if your invitee buys a Month every month for three months, you earn 20% × 3 × $30 = $18.

Withdrawal threshold. $25. Below that, the balance carries forward to the next month. No floor on the per-order commission, just the withdrawal total.

Rules in plain English.

• No spam. Don't post your link in random Discord servers, subreddits where it's off-topic, or as DMs to strangers.
• No fake reviews or testimonials.
• No incentivizing leaks of the loader binary, the payload, or screenshots of the in-game menu that haven't been on the marketing site already.
• No paying people to use your link in exchange for cash kickbacks (that's just a refund laundering scheme).

Breaking these gets the affiliate status revoked and any pending commission forfeited. Almost nobody hits this — the relaxed rule of thumb is: organic recommendations are great, deceptive promotion is not.

Stats dashboard. Live click count, conversion rate, gross revenue attributed, your earnings (Pending + Available), and a 30-day chart. Updated within 60 seconds of each tracked event.
