Reporting bugs
What makes a useful bug report vs a frustrating one.
Where to report
#support-tickets. Even though this isn't a "I need help" report, the ticketing flow gives us a thread for back-and-forth without spamming #general.
The format we love
TITLE: One-line summary
REPRO:
1. (precise step)
2. (precise step)
3. (precise step)
EXPECTED: what should happen.
ACTUAL: what actually happens.
BUILD: v2.6.7 (visible on the loader's About tab)
HERO: Hawkeye (or whatever)
ENVIRONMENT: Windows 11, NVIDIA RTX 4090, 32GB RAM, 1440p 240Hz
A bug report shaped like this gets a fix the same patch. A bug report shaped like "aim is weird" gets a "can you give us more info please."
Not bugs (so you know)
- Your aim feels different after a patch. The aim engine reads state from the game; if the publisher changes a value (movement speed, projectile arc), the engine adapts. The end result may feel different until we tune the per-hero baselines back.
- A specific hero isn't in the per-hero profile list. New heroes are added the patch they launch. If you're playing within the first 24 hours of a new hero release, hold tight.
- Discord screen-share shows the overlay. You're on Display Capture instead of Game/Window Capture. See Streamer mode.
